CCS Retail and Grocery Gift Cards

The CCS Retailer & Grocery Gift Card program is a simple, no additional cost, fundraising opportunity that we greatly encourage. It has consistently yielded in excess of $8,000 in recent years.

The program, with our school community’s collective participation, has potential for considerable growth.

Appealing aspects of this program are that families do not spend “new money” to benefit from this program. Although the various vendors provide differing levels of returns, the vendors return an average of six percent to their participating schools. Using six percent as a margin, if a family spends $1,000/month on food, gas, clothing, restaurants etc., $60 would be returned to CCS with no additional cost to the family. Many schools offer these programs and have found the advantages to their school families to be very significant. Much depends on the participation of our families in planning ahead and learning to use the program to its fullest.
