CCS Lunch Program Information

Monthly lunch menu is available on the website. The menu may be printed as well by clicking on the print icon.

Cost: Effective 8/23/2011 prices for our lunch program are as follows:

Regular Student Meal (Does not include drink.): $3.25

Large Student Meal *(Does not include drink.): $3.75

* Large meal option only available to 5th – 8th grade students and faculty.

Pizza Student Meal: $3.00

2nd Slice Pizza: $1.50

2nd Entree (size same as Regular entree): $1.75

Drink (1% White or Chocolate Milk or Bottled Water): $0.50

Drinks are available every day and can be purchased without purchasing a meal.

Lunch Orders: The lunch orders are taken in the classroom each morning. Students who will be late should have their order called in to be included.

NO CASH CAN BE ACCEPTED IN THE LUNCH ROOM: Students must establish an account prior to the first day in order to purchase items from the lunch program.

When a student buys lunch items, their purchase is charged at the check out terminal and the cost of their purchase is deducted from their account.

If the account goes below $0.00, items may not be purchased from the lunch program until the balance is updated.

If you use the online payment system at least once, your online account will be activated and you will be able to check the current balance of your child’s lunch account throughout the year at www.CafePrepay.com. (The online system will show the correct balance even if all subsequent payments are made by check directly to CCS).

Important: Each student has a separate lunch account.
A student cannot use a sibling’s account to purchase lunch. (i.e. If you have three students, you must add and maintain funds in three separate lunch accounts. You are able to add money to several different accounts with a single online credit card payment or check.)

Credit Card Payments:

  • Online payment to Comalex, Inc at CafePrepay.com.
  • Credit card deposits are credited to accounts each day when the CCS lunch check-out terminal is started. (If you make a payment before the terminal is started for lunch, the money will be available for use that day)
  • minimum: $25 per student account
  • You can make a single payment or set up automatic monthly payments or automatic payments triggered by a specified low balance in your child’s account.
  • We strongly encourage use of cafeprepay since it is integrated with our lunch check-out terminal and automatically updates account balances.

Payment by Check to CCS

  • You may write one check for multiple children.
  • Checks will not be accepted without lunch payment coupon. (Download coupons or get them at the school office).
  • Give check and coupon to homeroom teacher (do not turn in during lunch).
  • Deposits by check are manually entered into the lunch terminal by CCS so a $30 minimum per payment is preferred but not required.
