Important Facts About The CCS Lunch Program

1. Cost:
   Current prices are shown on the online lunch menu
2. Ordering Lunch.
   
   • Lunch orders are called into the caterer by 8:30 AM each morning. Students wishing to order lunch must order during attendance each day. If a student is going to be tardy, parent must call the school by 8:30 to order lunch for the day.
   • Monthly lunch menu is available on the website.
   • Drinks (milk, chocolate milk, water) will be available every day and can be purchased without purchasing a meal.
3. NO CASH will be accepted in the lunch line.
   
   • Students must establish an account prior to the first day in order to purchase items from the lunch program.
   • When students buy lunch items, they will type in a personal code (given the first day) through the computer at the check-out terminal and the cost of their purchases will be deducted from their account.
   • If the account goes below $0.00, items may not be purchased from the lunch program until the balance is updated.
4. You can monitor lunch account balances online (Otherwise notice will be sent when under $20).
   If you use the online payment system at least once, your online account will be activated and you will be able to check the current balance of your child's lunch account throughout the year at www.CafePrepay.com. (The online system will show the correct balance even if all subsequent payments are made by check directly to CCS).
   

How to Add Funds to Your Student's Lunch Account

Important!: Each student has a separate lunch account.
A student cannot use a sibling's account to purchase lunch. (i.e. If you have three students, you must add and maintain funds in three separate lunch accounts. You are able to add money to several different accounts with a single online credit card payment or check.)

Credit Card deposits to lunch accounts are managed by Comalex, Inc. through their CafePrepay.com internet site. We strongly encourage use of this site since it is integrated with our lunch check-out terminal and automatically updates account balances. There is a service charge for each payment method to cover the costs of payment processing and maintaining the site.
