Setting up your online CaféPrepay account

CaféPrepay allows payment of lunch accounts by credit card or direct checking withdrawal, as well as checking of current lunch account balances.

Step 1: Establish a CaféPrepay account login name and password

1. Go to CafePrepay.com
2. Choose "New User" from top tabs.
3. You will be asked to choose a password.
   Your password can be anything you wish, but make sure it is something you can remember since no one at CCS will have a record of your CaféPrepay ID or password. Also, pick and answer a security question provided.
4. They will email confirmation of your password at the email address you give.
5. Press Continue

Step 2: Associate the correct student or faculty member lunch accounts with your CaféPrepay ID.

1. To add a student, go through a series of screens where you select our school by choosing "State=VA then District=Charlottesville Catholic School then choose our school. (It may take a few moments to load the CCS information)
2. You will get to a screen titled "Find Student" that asks you for a student name and grade level. This is a search form to tell it how to narrow down the whole list of CCS students so you can pick out your child's name.
   (Tip: Enter just your last name and it will pull up a list of all CCS children with your last name - you can then easily pick your student.)
3. You will get a list of names that meet your search criteria - click the link that says "Add to my Students" next to the correct student name.
   Faculty Members: Your names are in the student list and can be added to an account in the same manner as any student.
4. Follow the same process to add all of your children.

Step 3: Using your account

Your account is now correctly set up. You can just log into CafePrepay.com and make payments for one or all of your children.

Links to all the functions you need can be found on the left side menu in the "My Account" section.

Tip: You might need to click the "transactions" link to view recent online payments before the "current balance" link appears on the list.

Checking your Student Lunch Account Balances:

The CaféPrepay site communicates with the CCS lunch terminal at the close of lunch each day, Therefore, the balances on the website will reflect the lunch balances reported by CCS at the close of the most recent lunch. Once your online account has been used once, you will always be able to log on and check the current lunch account balances even if all subsequent account payments are made by check directly to CCS.
