The CCS School Board

In the Catholic Diocese of Richmond, each Regional school must have a Board of Directors. (A regional school is defined as a school which is served by more than one parish - such as CCS.) The Board of Directors functions as a consultative body to the Superintendent of Schools and the administrators of the school. They recommend policy in the listed areas with a vision toward future growth and development: Finance, Strategic Planning, Development, Facility, and Legislative.

• Communicate the mission of the school to the public
• Support and encourage the administrators
• Prepare a constitution for the Board
• Promote the image of the school
• Send minutes of the Board meetings to the Superintendent for approval.
