GRANT THE TEACHER'S WISHES!

Each year during the Live Auction we ask participants to donate to a special fund at Charlottesville Catholic School. This year’s auction fund will be earmarked for those dedicated people that help give flight to our children's imaginations... their teachers. The teachers have developed a wish list of items to help them in their efforts.

You can contribute to this special fund during the live auction or make a donation through this web site right now. For more information or to make your donation see the Teacher's Wish List Fund information page.

All approved sales are final. There will be no exchanges on items except where specified. Please note all limitations and specifications carefully.

All services, trips, gift certificates, parties and such must be used within one year of the auction unless otherwise noted, and are subject to availability. Taxes, tips and beverages are generally not included in restaurant certificates unless specified.

All items are sold "as is", with no warranties expressed or implied. No statement contained in this catalog or made orally at the auction or elsewhere shall be deemed to be such warranty, representation or assumption of liability. By purchasing, the buyer waves any claim for liability against either Charlottesville Catholic School or the donor of the property or services, and neither Charlottesville Catholic School nor the donor of the property or services shall be responsible for any personal injury or damages that may result from the utilization of the property or services sold.

Silent Auction Rules:

Silent Auction tables will close prior to the Live Auction. An announcement will be made at the time of the closing.

A bid sheet will accompany each Silent Auction item. Bid amounts and raises are pre-determined and listed on each bid sheet(unless otherwise indicated). The bidder is to write their bidder number on the line adjacent to their designated bid. Bids entered after the announced closing of the category will be disallowed. The highest legal bid, circled at the closing of the table, will constitute the winning bid. The Auction Steering Committee reserves the right to reopen the bidding on any item that attracts unusual attention.

Live Auction Procedures:

In the event of any dispute, the auctioneer will determine the successful bidder. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid that he believes is not commensurate with the value of the item being offered.

Bids shall be placed on an item by raising your bidder card. Spotters will assist the auctioneer in identifying bids. The auctioneer will announce the winning bid and bidder number for each item. Acceptance of the high bid becomes a binding obligation upon the bidder to make payment in full for that item by the end of the evening.

Syndicate bids (groups of buyers) must be submitted under a single bidder number.
