How to Donate to the Charlottesville Catholic School Auction

Without donations the auction could not happen. These are the items that are sold at the auction. Our auction features a wide range of items and gift certificates New and unique items are always welcome.

We accept donations of items and gift certificates from businesses and individuals. Donations of cash are also welcome. Businesses may also be interested in becoming Corporate Sponsors of this event.

All Donations are tax deductible and are highlighted in our auction catalog which is distributed to twelve hundred individuals in the Charlottesville community and posted for one year on this website. If you provide us with your URL, the online catalog will link to your business web site.

If you would like to make a donation to the auction:

• Please fill out the Donation Information Form so that we can correctly credit you for your donation.
• Mail or deliver your item to the school:

• Call the school and arrange for a parent volunteer to pick up the item.

NOTE: In order to be included in the auction catalog, all donations must meet the donations deadline.The deadline is usually in early February - contact the school for this year's deadline. In certain circumstances, delivery of the donated item can wait until closer to the auction date if a donation contract has been signed and received by the school.

Donated items or gift certificates from businesses are very important, but that is only the beginning!

• Do you have any antiques or fine art, or a vacation home that you can offer for a week?
• Do you have unused frequent flyer miles which could by airline tickets to go with our travel packages? (Frequent flyer miles can be used for tickets for someone other than you, but you would have to be willing to make the reservations for the highest bidder.)
• Can you perform a service (cook a gourmet meal, paint a room, babysit, or teach someone how to understand their computer)? The possibilities are endless!
• Can you build or make something? Handmade items like gift baskets, quilts, doll clothes, furniture, and toys make our auction unique and special.

All parents are also needed to help by donating their time to make the annual auction a success.

It has been our experience that many businesses are more than happy to support our school, but they need to be asked! And they are much more likely to give if they know the person asking. If you are a regular at some establishment or have a friend, relative, or other contact at a particular business, please ask them to consider making a donation to support the Charlottesville Catholic School Auction.
