Enrollment Procedure
- Submission of Application and Transcript Release Form with application fee ($100 for one applicant or $175 per family for 2 or more applicants ).
Applications become part of the applicant pool to be considered for enrollment.
- Applications are accepted for the current school year at any time.
- Applications for the following school year are accepted October 1 -
February 1 and will be considered for the first round of new enrollment
contracts in mid-March. Any applications received after February 1 will be
considered as spaces become available.
- The Transcript Release Form and a Teacher Evaluation form may be sent to the child/ren's school by CCS (This is not necessary for children applying for pre-kindergarten).
- Visitation/Screenings:
- If you are applying for the current school year and there are spaces available in the grade you are requesting, CCS will schedule a half day visit for the student to his or her current grade. An academic screening will be done during the visit.
- If you are applying for the next school year, the student may be scheduled for a half day visit in his or her current grade. An academic screening will be done during the visit. Based on spaces available a limited number of visits and assessments will be offered to selected students. Note that a visit does not indicate that an enrollment contract will be offered.
- An assessment is not required for pre-kindergarten children.
- Notification of Acceptance.
CCS will inform all applicants of the status of their application by mid March. If an enrollment contract is offered, the signed contract and a $300 tuition deposit must be submitted by the date specified in the letter of acceptance. (If multiple contracts are offered within a family, a $300 tuition deposit is due for each contract.) See tuition and payment details for complete payment information. Acceptance into the pre-kindergarten program does not guarantee admission to kindergarten.
- An up-to-date School Entrance Health Form must be submitted to CCS by August 1 of the enrollment year. The student's original birth certificate must be presented to CCS by August 1 of the enrollment year.
