The CCS Annual 5K Run

About the Race

This exciting event—fashioned to accommodate serious runners, walkers and kids—begins in front of CCS (Charlottesville Catholic School) and quickly takes you on the cart path of the beautiful Meadowcreek Golf Course. The scenery changes as you exit the golf course to run along the Rivanna River on the grassy and mulched Pen Park Nature Trail. You will finish with a short run up Pen Park Road to the finish line in the school’s driveway. This course promises to be a great running or walking experience for all!

Refreshments will be available for participants following the run, including samples from Smoothie King.

Awards are presented to the top finishers in each of the age groups and there will be great grab bag prizes for all participants young and old, including UVA Football and Disney on Ice tickets, jewelry, certificates to Spendora’s, Ben & Jerry’s, local restaurant and more.

Registration

Register at CCS or Ragged Mountain Running Shop (until 4pm on October 2nd) or download a registration form and mail in your registration.

Early Bird Registration $20

if received by 4 pm October 2nd at either CCS or Ragged Mountain Running Shop

Family Discounts (up to October 3rd)

• Family of 3 - $55
• Family of 4 - $65
• Family of 5 - $75

Race Day Registration - $25 for all
